Avionics Service and Installation Recommendations

I have used Flite Electronics at Addison Airport for many years to do my transponder repair work and I highly recommend them to my clients for their Avionics needs.

I also recommend Ferguson Avionics (972) 347-2000 located at Aero Country Airport for avionics repair.

Instrument Repair Recommendations

I recommend Air Dallas Instruments for instrument repair.

I recommend Mid-Continent Instrument for instrument exchange and repair.

I recommend American Avionics for new United Instrument sales.

Other Recommendations

If scheduling becomes a problem and you need your pitot / static, altimeter and transponder certifications done sooner than I can get to you I recommend, Mark Corboy ( Sims Aviation ). Call me and I will give you Marks number.

Dallas area Shops that provide mobile FAR 91.411 and FAR 91.413 service

* These shops have a full time technician that only does pitot / static, altimeter, and transponder related testing, repair, and certification.

Warning: As an aircraft owner it is your responsibility to see that all maintenance preformed on your aircraft was completed correctly and by qualified personnel. Not all repair facilities are qualified to perform services that are required to return your aircraft to service after altimeter and transponder maintenance.

Any maintenance functions (repairing static system leaks, removing and replacing instruments, installing new instruments, and so on) also need to be signed off by an A&P or qualified repair station.

Just because a shop tells you they can do a job, it does not mean that they are qualified.

Call anytime for a price quote for your aircraft (214) 212-0499.
